On August 6, 2018, the presentation evaluation and awards ceremony for the 2018 Jeju Public Data Utilization Startup Competition was held at the Tamna Hall of Jeju Provincial Office.
This competition was co-hosted by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, Jeju Free International City Development Center (JDC), Jeju Creative Economy Innovation Center, and Jeju Regional Meteorological Administration, and was designed to promote entrepreneurship and create jobs through the development of creative ideas and products (services) utilizing public data.
A total of seven teams received awards, and Enerfive (CEO Eun-tae Kim) won the **Excellence Award in the Product/Service Development Category**. Enerfive's idea for building a big data-based smart power platform was highly evaluated for its technical and business feasibility.
